Meso
Meso was started in 2017 by Ian Hoban after his son Oliver started to suffer from thinning hair. This led Ian to use his 30 years Barbering knowledge to produce a range of Barber quality products that also solved men’s hair problems.
Ian wanted to establish a range of hair care products that not only did their job, but also looked at thinning hair and other men’s problems, to see if he could fix the main problems for men.
With this in mind, Meso was formulated using only top quality ingredients that were not only great at making your hair look amazing, but also added volume and texture to help guys with thinning hair.
Our range are manufactured here in the UK and of our range are Animal Cruelty Free and all are also Paraben free except for the Sea Salt Spray.

Meso supports Mental Health & Animal Welfare
Meso has its own story about mental health through their own journey. As the Director, I was diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression back in 2002. Since then, every day has been a struggle and to this day, it never leaves me. However, I have learned to live with it and it has now become part of what has made me stronger. With the help and love of my son Oliver, we decided to set up Meso and to help to keep the torch burning for all those who are suffering now or in the past. There is light at the end of the tunnel and if I can overcome it and become successful, then so can you. As an ex Soldier, PTSD is now well documented and we should all support our soldiers who are suffering silently. Part of my healing process has been around animals and a passion for them, especially dogs. I still can’t believe that we treat animals so inhumanely, simply to satisfy our hunger. At Meso, all of our products are Animal Cruelty Free and we are looking at Vegan certification at some point in the near future.
